Building Apps with PowerApps to help streamline your business and improve your effencency.  In this session, we will start with a business problem and working on solving our problem by building a solution with PowerApps.  We will do this with PowerApps intuitive visual tools and require little or no code.  We will discuss data integration and how to distribute our application to the right employees. Learn how you can easily create and share apps that run on any device.

Joe starts this session with a review of how the Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) procedure fits into the overall Business Intelligence process. He then demonstrates how Power Query meets this ETL process goal in both Power BI and Excel. This is a demo packed session showing you how to use Power Query from basic operations through the latest enhancements and finishes with a drill down into how the M formula language works as a basis for Power Query operations.

A lot of public data is available for free via Open data portals. In this session I will show how you can access these data directly from Power BI and create a model that combines your sales data with for example the population count in the municipality for the location. We will look at how you create the DAX measures to create these calculations.
